March is the month when me and my colleagues from the tax department working almost non-stop. Sometimes I feel like I do not even know, what is the date of this actual day.

This year, my colleague asked me to write a short piece of information about the deadlines for filing tax returns. I confess that the moment when I started writing this text, I actually just found out how many days had already passed.

For you readers, I would like to point out that the deadline for submission of a tax return for personal and corporate income tax differs depending on whether the tax return is submitted in paper form electronically, or on the basis of a power of attorney granted by a tax advisor or lawyer. According to the tax code, income tax returns are submitted no later than three months after the end of the tax period, i.e. for the year 2022, the deadline is 3 April 2023. If the tax return is submitted electronically, the deadline is the 4th month after the end of the tax period. On the other hand, in the case of filing on the basis of a power of attorney granted to a lawyer or tax advisor, the tax return must be filed within 6 months after the end of the tax period.

And since it is said that repetition is the mother of wisdom, it does not hurt to recall our previous articles that deal with this issue.

What not to forget in taxes, even in these difficult times!

The deadline for filing personal and corporate income taxes is here!
